What is Senior Perks Journal?
An informational publication covering everyday senior perks, discounts, savings ideas and useful consumer programs. We publish articles, checklists and a perks directory.
Are the discounts you write about guaranteed?
No. Discounts and program terms are set by third-party businesses and can change at any time. We encourage you to confirm current terms directly with the business or program before relying on them.
Are you affiliated with any stores or programs?
No. We are an independent publication and do not have partnerships with the merchants or programs mentioned in our articles.
Do I have to sign up for texts to read the site?
No. All articles are free to read. The weekly SMS is completely optional.
What will I receive if I subscribe to texts?
You can choose account notifications, marketing texts with senior perk highlights and new articles (generally up to 4 per month), or both. Each is a separate, optional checkbox.
How do I stop the texts?
Reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END or QUIT to any message. You will receive one confirmation and no further texts. Reply HELP for help.
Do you sell or share my phone number?
No. Mobile opt-in data, SMS consent and phone numbers are never sold, shared, rented or transferred to third parties for marketing or lead generation.
Can you tell me if I qualify for a program?
No. We do not screen eligibility or process applications. Please contact the business or program directly.
